Tonight was a proud moment for me. Hunter went and played this weekend with his good buddy JJ and the Austin Wings 10u.
He showed up and played next level.
He came in to pitch in the semi-finals with a 5-5 game. He went on to strike out 3 and hold them to 0 runs the next two innings on only 15 pitches.
Championship game he starts on the bump and continues to dominate. This time going complete 4 innings striking out 8 and only giving up 2 hits in route to a 8-2 victory.
6.0 IP 11 K 2 H 2 ER
Not a bad stat line.
Oh he also went 5-5 at the plate with 4 walks.
